Hey guys, I am competing in the Citybikes Ironman Miami
70.3 in October. I thought I would use this opportunity to
raise money for an organization that my friends, Than and Megan
Graffam, founded called Hope Project International. Hope
Project believes that "together, we can change the world".
They partner with organizations in different countries to
help meet the needs of children and families. You can check
out more of what they do here.
My hope is to raise money that can go towards building homes in
Nicaragua and Guatemala (it costs $1000/home in Nicaragua and
$2500/home in Guatemala) and/or towards sending kids to school in
those countries. It costs $45 to send a child to school in
Nicaragua for 1 year, and $60 in Guatemala. How many kids
can we send to get an education this year? How many homes
can we help build?
Would you partner with me in supporting this amazing
organization? I'll do the hard part - I'll swim and bike
and run. :) It would spur me on if I knew that some
families would benefit from it. Thanks.
